The Friends Of Alderman Jacobs is a group of fundraisers made up of parents, grandparents, friends and teachers. They work hard to raise funds to use on various equipment and activities for the children and the school. The main fundraising events are the AJS School Fete, held in the summer and the Christmas Coffee Morning. Both events take a great deal of hard work to organise and run. The FOAJS are always looking for new members to come along to the meetings, which are friendly and sociable. Members do not have to commit to every meeting but if you can offer any help please leave your name with the school office. The dates for the meeting for this school year are:

The FOAJS have contributed a great deal to the school including paying for stereo equipment, computing equipment, sports equipment, school discos and much more. They also fund annual visits to school including childrens authors and theatre companies.
